Carnegie Part 1
Carnegie. That was the only word that my mind could use to describe what I saw laid out be for me. It looked to be that of a young white female who had to been in her late twenties, if not thirties. She had been ripped to pieces by something, or should I say someone. I stepped past the yellow tape into the scene to take a better look. I stood next to Agent Michaels from the CIA. He had changed much in the five years since I'd left the CIA to the FBI. He still had the same short crew cut brown hair that was starting to show is age with a few stains of gray in it, his green eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sun glasses, and wearing the standard black suite.
"What brings you to my neck of the woods Mr. Kane?" He asked taking off his sunglasses. He extended his hand I shook it quickly.
"Three unexplained deaths with the same type of MO," I answer walking past his fresh face partner who looked like he was going to be sick. It must have been his first time in the field by the way he looked. White faced, eyes all glazed over. "You gone be alright kid?” He just stood their like a stone. I guess I'll take that as a no.
"What kind of animal could do such a thing?” Agent Michaels asked me.
I bent down towards the body and took a sniff. Another human killer I didn't need to change the scene. "It wasn't an animal," I replied standing back up.
"It has to be a monster," The newbie said.
“There are no such things as monster only bad men," I told him. Only if you truly knew what was really out in the world kid, you’d be running back to your mommy as quickly as your little feet could take you.
